Technical Lead (Freelance)

Oct 2015Mar 2016 · 5 mos

  • Iris had been engaged by a global retailer to rebuild their entire online presence across 9 markets and 30+ languages. The project was put on hold in summer 2015 and I joined with responsibility to identify and scope remaining work, put together the development and QA teams needed and see the project through to launch.
  • I was directly responsible for consulting with clients and numerous third parties to ensure all requirements were captured and implemented. These ranged from complex, cross-region business needs and legacy system integration to non-functional requirements including SEO, accessibility, performance, security and reliability.
  • The platform was developed on Umbraco 7.3 on Azure, following Agile methodologies and launched on schedule, in March 2016.
