• Project Name - Web page classification for parental control (september 2013 - july 2014)
• Our team worked on ‘Web based new solutions’ for the ‘Samsung S browser’. At that point of time I along with two senior members have worked on developing a good web-page classifier which consumes lesser resources but has high accuracy.
• Project Responsibilities -
• 1. Reading recent technical papers on web-page classification and give some input to the team.
• 2. Implement some of those ideas to check how effective it is w.r.t. our project requirement.
• 3. Created a corpus of size 3lakh web-pages using focused crawling approach for eight different classes.
• 4. Learning individual classifier models.
• 5. Performance tuning and parameter selection by ROC curve analysis.
• 6. Implemented an efficient feature reduction algorithm to reduce the number of features of the classifier model without affecting the accuracy.
• Achievements
• 1. Awarded Employee of the Month in march 2014 for successfully implementing better feature reduction technique in Web-page classification for parental control.
• Project Name- Samsung Internet of Things (S-IoT) Cloud Platform(July 2014 - Present)
• Samsung IoT Portal is an open IoT Platform which allows companies/users from different background to register their smart devices and offer advanced connectivity of devices, systems, services and covers a variety of protocols, domains and applications.
• Project Responsibilities
• 1. Designing a part of the m2mConsole UI in IOT platform using Angular Js, Java, JQuery, Javascript, AJAX, JSP, JSTL, HTML, CSS in Spring MVC framework.
• 2. Designing server side REST API using J2EE in Spring MVC framework.
• 3. Writing Python and Shell scripts to make the manual process to go automate.
• Achievements
• 1. Got Team Level Jury award for developing Samsung Internet of things(S-IoT) Cloud Platform
