• Working full-stack and leading by example on how to ship quickly. Shipped a webapp for a CV defect detection model in 2.5 months. Establishing the Python stack, including key framework changes that sped up development time (i.e. moving from Django to FastAPI, Graphene -> strawberry, setting up pytest & encouraging the team to use it). Working with research, design, other engineers to integrate GPT-3, stable diffusion and inpainting models for social post generation.

• Managed two teams (13 engineers) to develop and ship Workrooms, Facebook's flagship VR meeting tool - https://www.oculus.com/workrooms/. I supported people's career growth, manage individual expectations, and coach on performance.
• Workrooms has received wide acclaim for it's overall usability and extremely high level of polish. The team I manage developed real-time rendering, networking, and audio spatialization of 16 avatars, developed the dynamic environment together with artists, developed all core UI flows within Workrooms, and delivered best-in-class hand tracking and UI interactions.
• 2019-2020: Managed the Avatars SDK team, in charge of virtual avatar appearance, behaviours, development, and support across Unity, Unreal Engine, and navite codebases for internal and external developers.
• The Avatars SDK powers all pose, rendering, and behaviours of virtual avatars within the Oculus Quest ecosystem. During my tenure, developed and released the "expressive" update, where we released dynamic facial expressions, voice lip-sync to drive mouth movements, simulated eye gaze and other behaviours, as well as editable facial attributes on eye and lip colour.

• Leading a team of 8 engineers in both product and engineering, to develop the next generation of features on LiveRail, Facebook's video monetization platform for publishers.
• Reduced development times across the entire team by 20-30%, by enabling LiveRail to take advantage of Facebook's core abstractions such as React, Relay, and GraphQL.
• Implements the most technically challenging parts of many systems in PHP (Hack) and JS. Mentors team members on best practices.
• Plans the future strategic direction of publisher AdTech together with senior leadership and team leads across teams.
• Liaise between external publishers and advertisers, gathering feedback and turning them into product improvements.

• Implemented and executed the largest privacy migration in human history.
• Built multiple features in the version of Facebook Profile that was launched in early 2011.
