  • Maintain over 30 different blockchain protocols, perfomed upgrades, automated routine processs and remote actions.
  • The disorganized nature of protocol upgrades was a significant hurdle. Updates occurred unexpectedly, making tracking difficult. I designed and implemented a system that automatically monitors GitHub releases and generates Jira tickets, ensuring all upgrades are documented. This solution reduced the time spent tracking updates by 50%(todo: how to get this number?) and significantly increased process transparency. To bridge the communication gap between Discord and our corporate environment, I developed a bot that automatically analyzes messages in Discord and creates corresponding tasks in Jira, leveraging GPT-4o and cb-gpt. This integration has already resulted in considerable time savings and will reduce missed upgrades by 70% (todo: how to get thin number?). As part of this effort, a langchain’s CbGptChatModel NPM package was developed and could be re-used by other teams at Coinbase.
  • Unexpected data growth posed a threat to system stability due to potential overflows and failures. I created an automated action that generates a Pull Request to resize Persistent Volume Claims (PVCs), triggered directly from PagerDuty. This solution reduces response times to critical situations from several hours to mere minutes, ensuring uninterrupted service operations.
  • My efforts contributed to the stability of numerous protocols, including Solana, Cosmos, Neutron, Stride, Axelar, dYdX, and Polka-dot. During emergency updates I promptly implemented necessary measures, preventing potential outages and ensuring system reliability and sustainability.
  • Investigated and fixed various issues in the test environment, decreased the protocol maintenance burden, increased the new release delivery speed.
  • Researched and enabled Solana SW-QOS as most-wanted feature of our Solana customers.
