Promoted 3 times in 2 years.
• My groups created and owned our flagship payments products for Earners and Spenders including all Checkout experiences ($60bn in collections, ~$40bn in disbursements, 110 million MAUs), Uber Pay (proprietary API with over 100 payment methods unlocked and $1bn ARR), Uber Wallet, Uber Cash (stored value) and global Gift Cards ($500m per annum). • Launched and scaled Uber in West Africa (Nigeria and Ghana). From 10 cars to tens of thousands. Greenlit other markets including Senegal, Cote D’Ivoire, bringing our vision of “push a button, get a ride” to life. Grew business to $60M annual run rate, over 3M trips per year, passed the first ridesharing bill in Africa, launched a vehicle solutions program with Nigeria’s leading bank - First Bank of Nigeria, and was one of the regions who pushed and piloted Cash as a payment method - developing the playbook for Cash global expansion.

• Led product marketing (including mobile apps, product micros-sites) and comms strategy for Etisalat Nigeria with an active subscriber base of over 20 million customers. Key sponsorship/brand assets included: The Etisalat Prize for Literature, Etisalat Cloudnine (a music and content platform), Lagos Jazz Festival, and the Etisalat Photography Competition.
• Led Corporate Comms and policy - partnered with our C-suite to unlock number portability and quality assurance with the regulator - creating a fairer telco ecosystem growing acquisition and retention in a heavily competitive market. In under 3 years achieved market leadership in the innovation category, attained the highest industry NPS and tripled customers in the High Value segment (who generated 70% of contribution margin) with 20% MoM ARPU growth.

• In parallel to Inden from Nov 2008 - Dec 2010, also launched an Apple Premium Reseller retail store in Nigeria. Partnered with the EMEA Apple team to launch the iPad, MacBook Pro and iWorks.
