• Fiduciary purchasing platform for negotiating FF&E and OS&E purchases on the owner’s behalf protecting client’s investments:
• I had the opportunity to contribute to every part of the program writing new features, maintaining existing ones, and adding tests. As a senior software engineer, I used my experience to provide performance improvement solutions due to the increasing number of active users. These solutions included system design solutions such as implementing queue services to process tasks demanding high processing power. Plus architecture updates such as data serializing/deserializing and report generation processes that reduced time and workload improving user's experience and reducing cloud computing costs. As well as by refactoring queries by deep diving into the database (Postgres) specifics (query plan, indexes, partitioning, cluster, transactions, etc) to boost up performance delaying database upgrade costs due to the increasing number of data and users. Besides that, I've worked on features with great value for users like custom reports and analysis for pricing and quoting. The custom reports feature provided a friendly web-based user interface for navigating through database tables allowing users to build custom reports according to individual or client's needs. By selecting tables and related columns users would be able to save that as a report (internally saved as a tree data structure) and generate a real report with great business insights with it.

• Provider of continuing education solutions for professionals, the solution develops specialized curricula designed to help users deepen their expertise while meeting licensing requirements:
• I was in charge of redesigning the API solution by delivering a high-performance server architecture from scratch using Nest to resolve critical scalability and responsiveness challenges in its legacy server. Abstracting Nest controllers and services by using factory and dependency injection design patterns, I was able to deliver a robust architecture easy to scale, maintain, and connect with the client application. Using Objection.js alongside with the objection-filter package, I was able to deliver an architecture that easily adapts to client applications giving the frontend the power to select only the necessary relations with a concept similar to GraphQL.

• Student's Financial Aid System:
• As one of the largest public universities in Brazil, the Federal University of Ceará has over 40k students and provides financial support for socially vulnerable students. These programs included housing, meals, kindergarten, and transportation support. In order to allow the managing team to get rid of spreadsheets, I was in charge of designing and delivering a modern solution for it by communicating with stakeholders, planning and managing the project ensuring its success. The delivered solution controlled each enrolled individual in these programs and computed and processed payroll and other reports.
• Academic Evaluation System:
• The Federal University of Ceará has many ongoing courses and classes. As part of a process that aims to provide more transparency to the taxpayer and its administration board, the academic evaluation system provides students and faculty the chance to assess things like infrastructure and methodologies. In this project, guided by senior software engineers, I was able to extend questionnaires forms, build new reports, and other features to filter out permissions on what data coordinators and directors would be able to access.
