• In this role I was accountable for Specsavers Partner Development in UK and Ireland. That’s everyone who is part of a joint venture partnership and owns shares in a Specsavers store.
• I led a specialist team making a real difference to our customer-facing directors. We particularly worked working on the future capability requirements and driving performance in stores.
• The temptation of running my own business at this point was too great so I decided to invest all my time and effort in to this and parted with Specsavers on good terms.

• Welcome to Welcome Two Learning Ltd - a neat digital learning and development consultancy. We work with organisations, apprenticeship, and training providers, supporting their need for virtual learning, curricula, knowledge, and skills strategies, saving them time and money.
• Designed and delivered the right training at the right time via 2 minute videos, virtual classrooms, webinars and expert consultancy.
• After a successful 18 months trading, I decided to formally partner with my now business partner at Quantum Rise, setting up a new business and moving Welcome Two clients and assets over.

• In my role at Virgin Care, I was accountable for everything talent management and leadership development, including the annual talent and performance cycle, apprenticeships and qualifications, exec development, psychometrics, learning plans and budget.
• I was been lucky enough to take over leadership of the Apprenticeship function as well heading up Talent and Leadership Development. I led the successful ROATP application, set up of the leadership and management apprenticeships, evolved our clinical apprenticeships and built out a wider, more experienced delivery team which got us successfully through the first OFSTED monitoring and ESFA visits.

• I was also lucky enough to represent Centrica at various forums such as the National Apprenticeship Service's Apprenticeship Ambassador Network committee, and the Customer Service Trailblazer where I chaired the forum which designed the new apprenticeship standards in Customer Service.

• In this role I was responsible for the leadership of the Devon and Cornwall area for the UKs largest independent Apprenticeship and training provider.
• I led a team of 17 trainer assessors, quality managers and a team leader delivering to local and national employers plus had full profit and loss, and budget responsibility.
• I decided to move on from this role as the Centrica British Gas opportunity came up where I could use my combined skill set and it was an opportunity to lead the development on the new apprenticeship standards.

• As Training Manager for the LV= Life and Pensions business my responsibility was for the design and delivery of learning solutions and coaching across the business unit.
• Building the team from scratch, I led a team of ten training consultants throughout three key locations with focus on building organisational capability, behaviours and skills.
• I introduced an online blended induction portal with supporting MI engine, BT Webex webinar usage, reduced new starter induction and trainee quality sign off attempts by a third, and partnered with the customer experience business to launch the LV= Service Academy.
• I also led the on the delivery of group wide change and systems training as part of the Avaya telephony platform roll out for c6000 users, and the BPM workflow system implementation in to the Protection business.
• I decided to move on this role as the new pension reforms meant a whole new change in strategy and all training was put on hold for an indefinite period of time until this was digested and understood.

• During my time with Working Links I was responsible for the whole training cycle, specifically focusing on contemporary psychological theory embedded in practical work application and behavioural change.
• I scoped, designed and delivered one of the key programmes in Working Links - MAPPA Awareness - working with Merseyside Probation, which has now been rolled out group wide and trained to all L&D consultants throughout the country. The feedback was extremely positive and 100% of those who attended could apply the knowledge and skills to their role, reducing offender risk and enhancing their client experience.
• I also worked with acting agencies upskilling specific actors who were used in the behavioural coaching and leadership blended programmes which were co-delivered by actors and trainers.
• This role demanded regular travel throughout the UK.
• I moved on from this role for the LV= opportunity.

• This six month fixed term contract involved the consultation and creation of new company recruitment and training procedures, covering 3 regional start up offices across the South West with 15 permanent staff and over 200 associate staff.
• During this time I designed a blended induction for all staff and built the competency frameworks and progression schemes for all customer facing roles.
• I was also accountible for the recruitment of the senior management team for Devon and Cornwall.

• In this global role I was accountable for business development, TNA and delivery of development programmes including coaching, world class service and performance management for international blue chip clients.
• Clients included Radisson SAS Hotel group, Emirates Airways, Stena Line Ferries, Nissan Motors GB and Alpro who I partnered with supporting ROI training, coaching and development strategies for customer experience, sales teams and contact centers. This role involved extensive travel throughout EMEA.
• I was made redundant from this role after 12 months due to the start of the recession and change in business strategy.

• This was my first management role after promotion, which involved business development and staff management for the south west UK flagship branch of an international employment business. We also offered CSCS training, testing centre and marketing.
• I had full profit and loss responsibility plus the management responsibility and coaching of all trainee staff in the southern operation.
• In 2007 True Blue (the parent company) decided to pull out of the UK market therefore closing all UK operations and branches so I was therefore made redundant from this role.

• Following a spell as a recruitment consultant, I was really honored to have this role created for me, which included design and delivery of multisite inductions, technical, leadership and soft skills training programmes for an international employment business. There were no training or learning materials in existence in the UK operation so I created the entire portfolio during this time.
• I regularly traveled throughout the UK training consultants and managers, and also provided auditing and leadership support.
