• As a Senior Software Engineer, I lead the Billing Squad, being responsible for refining the requirements and defining long-term vision, the architecture and code quality, meeting deadlines and mentoring engineers in the team. I also performed the rollout of patterns to the whole engineering team.

• Lead the implementation of monitoring for Kafka and resources consumption in our K8S cluster, allowing the identification problematic services. Helped in the rollout of Alerts for our services, improving observability and allowing the team to be more proactive in solving bugs and performance problems. As a result, we accomplished a good balance between Engineering and Operations work, allowing us to explore new features with more effectiveness.

• Helped in the construction of a platform-like structure allowing teams with low knowledge of Kubernetes, Terraform, and AWS; to provision resources, CI/CD and monitoring to their microservices by themselves. This allowed us to scale our tech team without having to scale our infrastructure efforts.

This allowed us to easily create our internal Back-office and perform a Redesign with confidence that it would be consistent and functional.
