I am working as a data scientist at Rakuten Mobile Inc. Japan, where I apply my machine learning, deep learning & data science skills into action to create AI-enabled applications and to get insights from big data. My day to day work revolves around: 👉 Building pipelines to streamline big data into our database from data-lake, 👉 Analyzing the data and getting insights from it 👉 Creating presentations in a way that the analyzed data speaks its own story & present it to higher management (CTO, CEO) 👉 Building systems architectures to create an ML project from the analyzed data 👉 Building the application & productionizing it so that the internal/external stakeholders can use it. My recent application clusters the users of Rakuten Mobile into 3 different categories (High Value, Medium Value & Low-Value Customers). The categorization further helps in analyzing the potential customers and finding the users whom Rakuten Mobile can cross-sell the services. This tool is helping the organization increase revenue. Before joining Rakuten, I worked as a data scientist at Lumiq.ai, where I have built an OCR system that can classify the Indian documents like Aadhaar, PAN, Passport etc and extract information from it using deep learning techniques. I have done the deployment of the OCR project on AWS handling the end to end flow of the project. Additionally, I have published a paper on cryptocurrency prediction using interdependencies among crypto prices. The paper got selected and I have presented it at the Smartcom 2019 international conference. I am always open to new opportunities and challenges that can help me grow and make a positive impact.
