🏦 Worked on one of the main FGBS Goals Product Launch of 2022. Humbled and grateful.
✅ Some cool big-data stuff where EMR is used to calculate UseTax for big data CSV files, which is the backbone of the team's product launch. Was able to create the Tax Calculation Job using Scala/Spark which reduced the time for tax calculation of 100K+ rows of data from ~1hr to ~10mins. This would immensely benefit all the members of Tax Audit/Compliance teams @ Amazon, and save close to $4 million per year
