I'm a Data Analyst & Scientist with an incurable habit of interrogating data until it finally gives up its patterns. Some days that means writing optimized SQL queries to extract performance out of messy relational schemas. Other days, it's training and fine-tuning machine learning models in Python, or persuading a BI tool to generate something more insightful than the default chart it was so keen to suggest. I started out studying stars and galaxies that captured my interest, and later proofs in theoretical computer science that looked elegant on the whiteboard but collapsed the moment you tried to implement them (much like one does into a black hole.) Between astronomy and algorithms, I arrived at the same philosophy: chaos, whether cosmic or computational, only bends to curiosity, rigor, and patience. I've come to see Data Science and ML systems as my Jeeves: discreet, reliable, and handling the heavy lifting of preprocessing, optimization, and evaluation. (While I, in a very Wooster-like fashion, stumble toward the right conclusion just in the nick of time.) You might remember me as the "tech-fix queen" from school and university, entrusted with dying laptops, fainting operating systems, and programs that refused to compile. Through debugging grit and stubborn tinkering, I have acquired the uncanny ability to bring almost anything back to life (everything except the broken heart of Edgar Allan Poe, since I was, alas, two centuries too late.) Off the clock, I often ruin my posture hunched over books of a wide variety of genres and research papers on machine learning, optimization, or algorithm design. I cancel out the damage by spending my nights looking up at the stars, which is a personal reminder to me that curiosity, whether for constellations, clusters, or computational oddities, keeps me inspired.
