About

Let me begin by saying that design is not limited to devices. Since childhood, I have loved to sketch, and throughout my life, the world has served as both my canvas and my inspiration. By combining my childhood passion for art with purpose and creative problem-solving, I found my way into design research and the impact it has on a product. Although I am a UX Researcher by expertise, I have always worn multiple hats throughout my life, making me a true multipotentialite. Beyond UX and design research, my skills include but are not limited to design strategy, multi-modal (graphic and voice) designing, UX writing, market research, project management, task prioritisation, and much more. I have a wealth of experience, having worked for various sized enterprises over the past few years. I have worked for all kinds, from start-ups to medium-sized organisations and tech giants. As a quality-oriented individual, I love to take ownership and pro-actively do whatever it takes to meet the highest standards. As it gives away, I appreciate looking at the big picture and then getting into the finer details. Always having been a people person, I enjoy communication, and empathy is one of my most substantial assets. With a formal education of M.Des (Master's of Design) from NIFT, Bangalore, one of the best A-grade design institutes in India, I have excelled at capitalising on my passion and compassion. You must have heard this before, "If you do what you love, you'll never work a day in your life". Well, case in point. A graduation degree in engineering has equipped me with the skills to diagnose challenges and simplify complexity through subtle interactions between a product and its user. Customer advocacy is at the core of my philosophy, and I thrive on innovation. However, I value business context and technical constraints to make products more efficient and user-friendly, as they keep my design and timelines in check. Occasionally, I may also use my excellent communication skills and my compelling research results to convince stakeholders to try something out of the box. Please feel free to get in touch if you have a project that needs getting started, fancy a design discussion, or want to just say 'Hi'!
