With over 6+ years of Design experience, I pursue my interest in transforming user needs into engaging digital experiences, with a strong focus on balancing functionality, user & business needs. My career highlight includes increasing user engagement through targeted design improvements, and currently focusing on end to end Product Design, including strategy, user testing, visual design, interaction design and prototyping. A quote by Karl Lagerfeld reads “Evolution is the secret for next step”. However, I believe Design is the secret for evolution, vis a vis, Design is the secret for next step. We often stumble upon design problems daily when it comes to software/hardware interfaces, products or imperfect systems everyday and the only way to achieve Zen, is using design to fix them. Identifying such problems for the intended users and looking for doable solutions has always fascinated me. Fortunately, I was drawn to arts and crafts all my life and never shied away from getting my hands dirty, even before this realization kicked in. Adding structure and hustle to my passion then, enabled me to enhance my fundamentals in drawing, perspective, composition and color theory and understanding design methodically. I have a robust inclination towards art and crafts since childhood and its not just a deep admiration, but conjointly I love fiddling with my brushes and create crafts out of daily products. Eventually learning about art forms has mended me to enhance my fundamentals of drawing, perspective, composition and color theory that indirectly facilitated me to know designs better. Although being a graduate in Civil Engineering, the stimulated interest for positive impact by design lead me break the shackles and take a career path in design, rather than abiding by confined barriers. Finally, A design is a problem solved and a great design is eradicating problems unknown. I wish to be exposed to dynamic scenarios and powerful ideas to build my skills and address challenges in a global context. In a nutshell, I would like be one step closer to achieving immortality, not because of the person that I am but because of my contributions to evolution.
