• Frustrated by the slow and tiring onboarding and builds on a laptop, I decided to build cloud dev environments for engineering teams.
• Built an MVP using AWS, TypeScript, React and Golang with 2 co-founders.
• Pitched to people in my network and investors from some top VCs to get feedback.
• Learned a lot in a very short time but had to let it go since GitHub CodeSpaces became much better and the M1 Chip was released.

• Sumo Logic is a cloud-based machine data analytics platform.
• I was the part of data-collection team which owns a highly available, multi-tenant distributed data-ingestion pipeline that ingests 300+ TB data every single day, and can scale up to 4 PB/day.
• Worked on ingestion infra written in Scala/Java that runs on AWS, heavily utilising tools as S3, EC2, RPCs, SOA, zookeeper, Elasticcache, DynamoDB, ELB, etc.
• Contributed to the beta-release of archive intelligence to ingest only the logs you query over. This reduces costs for customers by more than 100x depending on use.
• Worked on the beta-release of observability for collectors, letting customers know the health of their log sources.
• Been part of on-call rotations and handled production releases.

• Worked on Speaking Geo-GP Assistant, a voice-based Android assistant to help policymakers drive decisions with geospatial data from ISRO.
• I was responsible for building a voice-based interactive system and implement queries over geographical data in PostGIS.
• The project was offered to the team being the runner-ups at Smart India Hackathon, 2018 to turn the hack to a usable product.

• Dockerized all (18) apps/microservices of Collect (a mobile data-collection app) for single-step local setup and on-prem deployment.
• Created a crawler for Parse (Mongodb) which resolves all pointers (foriegn keys) and prepares a minimal dump of the database for bootstrap based on given filters. This approach reduces local DB size down from 20+ GB to 2 MB.

• Built the product toolbox, a Python SDK over MongoDB to help internal engineering and support teams see customer data from a web interface without writing queries on database.
