I really enjoy working collaboratively with my customers to understand their strategic goals and create digital solutions that can incrementally solve tough problems towards meeting their goals. I am a strong believer in generative AI, agile data and solutions that provide my customers with results in weeks or months rather than years. I have been bringing my many years of successful AI/ML and agile start-up based problem solving experiences to many large companies in the healthcare and life sciences. I joined MarkLogic/Progress Software to focus on bringing enterprise quality AI and NoSQL solutions for incrementally integrating data silos, making the data agile, and then creating operational and analytics solutions on this agile data. Previously, I co-founded Apixio with the vision of using AI to solve the clinical data overload problem. Apixio solves the patient clinical risk problem via AI/machine learning and natural language processing (NLP). The platform makes extensive use of cloud computing based NOSQL technologies such as Hadoop, Cassandra, and ElasticSearch. I also co-founded Anka Systems and focused on the execution of EyeRoute's business development, product management, engineering, and operations. EyeRoute was the world's first distributed big data ophthalmology image management system. Before Anka Systems, I was a co-founder and CTO of FastTide, the worlds first operational performance based meta-content delivery network (CDN) which helped run the Internet 10x faster than usual for our customers.
