Joey Catanzaro — Business Development Executive
Hi would you like to know about me? The story begins in a small family deli where the value of a dollar was learned the real way. Early mornings and long days taught that work is a responsibility and every customer taught how trust is earned through consistency, honesty, and care. That counter became the first classroom. It showed how to listen, how to treat people, and how relationships grow when respect comes first. Those lessons formed the base of everything that came next. College followed and becoming the first in the family to graduate was a moment of deep pride. An internship with the city opened the door to something unexpected. At 21 the idea surfaced to revive an Italian festival that had been gone for 35 years. With nothing but grit and a plan centered on community a small team formed. Days were spent shaking hands and speaking with local businesses to bring it back. It raised tens of thousands of dollars for scholarships and churches and grew into a yearly celebration the mayor later proclaimed the town “Little Italy” for a day. That moment revealed how powerful it is when people unite around something bigger than themselves. At Accenture on the Google Cloud campaign the focus stayed simple. Show up for people and help them win. Many new hires were trained on best practices, C suite conversations were guided across SMB, Mid Market, and Enterprise, and a few million in recurring revenue followed. But the real pride came from watching a small pilot team grow into a massive operation built on patience, trust, and teamwork. It felt like building something meaningful from the inside. The Uber Eats campaign brought high volume full cycle sales and another chance to support people the right way. In 1 year the pilot grew from a handful of reps into a 100 million dollar operation. Over that 12 months 4M in annual recurring revenue was generated, 70 + new hires were trained and an SOP was built from scratch to help the entire team succeed. Seeing teammates unlock confidence and outperform expectations became the highlight of the role. Today the journey continues at The Hackett Group with a focus on GenAI and smarter ways to help teams grow. The heart of the deli is still the compass. Work hard. Help people. Build relationships that last. Lead with service. And always share what works so the community can Hack it together. Grateful to have you here for the next chapter.
