PCP (Product Content Publication) is a part of digital program and the single source to process the product data for the entire digital landscape of the company.
PCP receives the data from MDM (Master Database Management). It contains static content such as title, description but also references to other objects like feature and attributes.
The above set-up encourages data reuse, but makes it harder to publish the content to output channels since it need to aggregate the static content as well as the referenced content into a single representation to fit for the output channel.
To make the system linear scalable, extensible and cost effective, all output channel were decoupled and implemented using server less component on cloud (AWS).
