Building a presence as an industry thought leader, I presented at workshops and conferences, setting a powerful vision in favour of the adoption of machine learning and advance analytics in business environments.
• Partnered with an FTSE listed FMCG company to build a price recommendation engine automating price derivation, enabling the client to set price points that maximised revenue;
• Engaged by ASIC to lead a component of the review into the mortgage broking market, resulting in a suite of recommendations to improve consumer outcomes;
• Presented monthly in conjunction with Microsoft on their newest technologies for data science and machine learning.

• I joined Agile BI in a to support the growth of the analytics and business intelligence start-up. Driving business development activities, I presented at pre-sale events, workshops and conferences, presenting innovative solutions using Microsoft Power BI. Progressing into a full consulting role, I advised and shaped BI and infrastructure roadmaps for clients spanning the financial services, property and public sectors.
• Contributed to the acknowledgement of Agile BI as the first consulting partner for MS Power BI in Australia, underpinning growth to become one of the top 6 Microsoft Power BI partners in the world;
• Supported the business in growing to 20 consultants, connecting deep technical knowledge to individual business needs to provide a competitive offering;

• Identifying an opportunity to disrupt the Australian logistics sector, I founded and scaled Box&Parcel, a shipping company providing subscription-based after-hour delivery services to online shoppers. I shaped the business’ vision, core technology and analytics strategy, leading a team of 7 in the development of a consumer-centred product suite and individually priced SaaS subscription models.
• Pivoted the company from B2C to B2B to maximise revenue opportunities, developing an API for businesses to connect e-commerce platforms and access Box&Parcel offerings;
• Played a key role in the acquisition of e-commerce partner Gallantoro.

• I joined HomeHello in 2014 as VP Operations and went on to be offered an equity stake in the business after 12 months. Creating a unique online platform connecting clients to reliable home help services, I developed an operating model, technology roadmap and business strategy to provide a robust foundation for growth. At its peak, I led a team of 8 direct employees and managed ~80 contractors across 3 cities. The IP and platform were later acquired by leading home-services provider UrbanYou.
• Contributed to 15% WoW growth, defining operational strategies that enabled the business to expand into 2 additional cities;
• Targeted supply-side acquisition to meet complex market demands and maximise revenue potential.

• After graduating in Economics from the University of Sydney, I relocated to Singapore to undertake a research post with Centennial Asia Advisors, a high profile advisory firm helping governments, multilateral institutions, financial firms and leading MNCs understand economic trends in Asia. I supported two senior researchers with major projects, analysing global academic papers and news articles to produce papers on the potential economic impacts of world events.
• Researched and drafted major research papers on behalf of senior researchers, including an analysis of the political implication of the US and Chinese elections;
• Authored regular articles on developing economic trends throughout APAC.
