Graduated from NIT,Trichy with a degree in computer science. My formative years in school were mainly focussed on technology apart from history. Whilst one has become a profession and the other a hobby, I haven't found anything else which is more interesting than the two. Started my professional career with a stint at Morgan Stanley, where I interned during 2015 summer. After graduating I worked for a while at eBay before moving on to Flipkart where I worked on realising ambitious ideas in the pricing ecosystem for a few years. Lead development of price anomaly detection system. The project was
delivered within a tight deadline leading up to a major sale. The system saved
220 million rupees overthe sale period and 470 million rupees since its
deployment.
Rewrote the pricing engine from a point in time computation of price to a
forward looking time-line of potential prices. This pivot was essential to power
business requirement such as early access to sales, proactive anomaly
detection and also non-functional aspects of improving predictability and
reducing system criticalness.

offer constructs for all products selling on Flipkart.
Collaborated with pricing intelligence team to engineer and deliver price value
of a product. This computed value was used to boost search results with better
valued products showing up first. The project increased units per visit by 4.3%
and revenue per visit by 1.2%

Part of verification team under Trust-Engineering division which verifies user
identity and information at eBay. Worked with Spring, JSP and other
proprietary eBay frameworks.
On-boarded new verification framework for eBay Australia and Germany for
sellers. Integrated with regional data companies for cross verification of seller
data and built calculators to compute confidence score of new sellers and
sellers who wished to upgrade their presence in the marketplace.
The new verification framework resulted in a 10 points decrease in average
seller complaints in both these regions.

Summer Intern

Built a data visualization library as the internship project. The library was built
as an angular directive which uses d3.js and aimed to be a drop in replacement
forthe existing visualization tool to leverage d3’s much powerful graphing
ability.
The library was on-boarded onto a few projects to demonstrate the ease of
migration and the richerfeatures d3 provides.
