In my role as a Tech Lead for Campus Buddy, a platform designed to connect incoming university students with current students for mentorship, I took full ownership of the project by developing the entire codebase from scratch. I was responsible for designing the software architecture and making critical technical decisions, including the selection of services, frameworks, and cloud providers. I also had opportunity to do ,
1. Developed the entire codebase from scratch, leading the technical direction of the project.
2. Designed software architecture and selected the technology stack, including Next.js, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, TailwindCSS, shadcn.
3. Handled payments with Razorpay.
4. Created admin panel with Admin.js for ease in day to day operations.
5.Integrated real-time video calling functionality inside the webapp itself with various features like share white board.
6. Managed cloud infrastructure with Linode for hosting and utilized AWS S3 and CloudFront for efficient image delivery.
7.Coordinated with clients to ensure alignment on technical requirements and project goals.
This project not only enhanced my technical expertise but also enhanced my ability to communicate complex ideas to a non-technical audience.
