About

Currently - Part of Instamart’s iOS team. Major highlights include migration of Instamart’s flows from web to native stack and homepage redesign. Also contributing to tech capability team to make Swiggy app buttery smoother than ever. Worked on some critical project features as part of Food Revenue and Growth stream, before. Developed Swiggy’s referral flow and reskinned onboarding flow to boost new user acquisition and engagement. Built design language system (DLS) for iOS at Swiggy. Developed 20+ components and documented usage guidelines, thereby eliminating design inconsistencies across app and improving design-to-dev handoff time Previously - worked with Paytm as a part of mini apps team. There I built a framework, known as h5env or WebAppContainer, which is the base of most of the Paytm's verticals. Some of those include Paytm Payments Bank, Movies, Recharges, Insurance, Settings, Paytm First and obviously Mini Apps. Also developed some business critical user flows like email population and consent management. Learnt a lot about Javascript. Experimented with many lower level APIs of Webkit and other first party frameworks of Apple. My professional journey started with WedMeGood, a wedding planning startup based out of Gurgaon. I joined there freshly out of college and came out with loads of learnings. Starting from the let-var to memory management, concurrency and complete app release process, I got to learn a lot. Also tried my hands on backend development and thoroughly enjoyed the challenge. When I look back now, developing a fairly complex app from scratch within 6 months while maintaining 2 more apps by just a 3 member team, was some feat. On personal front, I'm a strong believer of Murphy's law - Anything that can go wrong, will go wrong and at the worst possible time. So most of the time I work as a perfectionist polishing the code so much so that every apparent bug gets eliminated during development phase only. Many a times I have been appreciated for being able to code quickly and efficiently. I follow the latest tech advancement regularly and try to incorporate them in my code. If you find something interesting in the above lines or just wanna have a conversation, feel free to reach.
