I didn't set out to become a CEO. I became one because I got tired of watching broken systems fail people. After 20 years as a CHRO and HR executive, I saw the same painful cycle repeat: performance reviews that led nowhere, engagement surveys no one acted on, learning platforms no one used, and talented people stuck without the skills or pathways to grow. I kept buying systems built by people who'd never sat through a performance review or had to explain to a CFO why "people analytics" weren't moving business metrics. So I drained my retirement account and built what actually works. I founded GoCoach & SkillCycle as I'm on a mission to democratize development and ensure all people have the skills they need to succeed.
