Worked with Honeynet, to develop a Vulnerability Scanner using Karton(in-house Python framework) for the CERT of Poland/NASK - National Research Institute of Poland under the mentorship of Krzysztof Zając.
Enhanced reconnaissance: Faced with limited attack surface, designed and implemented an algorithm for recursive subdomain enumeration from 40+ sources. Additionally, developed a fast DNS resolving algorithm to reduce false positives. Combined both into a comprehensive module, resulting in a 60% boost in attack vector discovery and improved accuracy.
Streamlined deployment: To address slow deployment cycles, engineered a comprehensive CI/CD pipeline.
Revamped UI: Faced with an outdated and inconsistent user interface, Integrated modern theme, Implemented both light and dark theme support, responsive design that improved overall UI consistency and enhanced user experience across the application.
The project was also showcased at Black Hat 2024.
