ZestMoney was deeply integrated with the largest merchants in India, including Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, MakeMyTrip, Nykaa, and brands like Apple, Reliance Digital, Chroma, etc. increasing the affordability of their products and helping them facilitate frictionless sales at a higher conversion rate to a larger base of customers. ZestMoney also had the largest network of merchants with 10,000+ online partners, and 75,000 physical stores, making the company a market leader in the space.
• Me, Priya and Ashish founded ZestMoney in 2015 (pre-DPI, India Stack and UPI) and thrived on solving the challenges of offering a fully digital end-to-end lending experience - at scale to millions of people. We were deeply mission-driven and believed that increasing the credit supply in the country would power economic growth and inclusion. • Digibank by DBS was a pioneering and path-breaking project - India's first wholly digital, app-based bank. A passion project led by a global team across Singapore and India, we deeply leveraged the country's emerging digital public infrastructure from Aadhaar to E-KYC. We were the only Financial Institution ever to design a coffee shop onboarding using biometric authentication at point-of-sale.
• I adored working on this project, spending time close to the customer and pushing the boundaries of technology, infrastructure and UX.

• Abode was, and probably still is, the best Boutique Hotel in Mumbai. We created the Abode Hospitality Operating Group and turned an old run down Mumbai guest house into a beautiful, authentic and premium city get away.
• A bit of a side hustle but probably one of the pieces of work I'm most proud of (and enjoyed the most) in my life. Turning the vision into reality took a huge amount of blood, sweat and tears and was a real baptism of fire in terms of learning to navigate and operate a "real world" business in India.

• The Wellcome Trust is the world largest medical charity and its grants have quite literally changed the course of human history - for example Wellcome funding decided the human genome!
• Working in the investment team was an absolute dream. I have never and will never experience a culture and environment as wonderful. Led by Danny Truell, we had absolute freedom to explore the world, make big bets and learn about investing. It was here that I had the opportunity to learn so much about India, the financial system (and make some good returns)
