Walmart Transportation & Management System is tasked to build an Event Driven Architecture solution that enables Event Orchestration, Event State changes & Event Alert notification. The Event aggregation layer collects the data from multiple application systems (Producers) and publishes message topics using a Apache-KAFKA (Pub/Sub) layer. The Consumer process picks up the topics and processes them using Apache Storm topology. The Spout/Bolt APIs Serializes, parses and De-serialize the data into multiple target persistence layers like HDFS; DSE-Cassandra.
