I’m Mahak Thakre, a Data Engineer with a strong foundation in AI and data science. I completed my B.S. in Data Science & Programming (IIT Madras) and hold a B.Sc. in Computer Science. I build reliable pipelines, turn messy data into analytics-ready datasets, and ship production solutions that power analytics and AI. In practice that means I’ve worked end-to-end: ingesting large datasets, cleaning and transforming them with PySpark/Databricks, modelling them into Bronze→Silver→Gold layers, and making them available for BI and ML. I focus on data quality, observability, and secure access so downstream models and analysts can trust the results.I’ve also delivered applied AI & web projects, which helps me bridge the gap between data pipelines and model/feature consumption:1. Built and deployed a TB detection pipeline (20K+ chest X-rays) — automated extraction, preprocessing, training and deployment.2.
