Description of the Project:The project includes monitoring health of Radio Network elements in terms of KPIs, measuring and analyzing various counters which involves drive testing of the particular site, and taking corrective measures in terms of Network parameter changes to improve KPIs and thereby deliver improved QOS to the customer.
CONCLUSION:- We have identified the problems faced by subscribers which occurred in the radio network and the various ways to optimize and enhance the system in such a way that it is capable of transmitting and receiving the signal with minimum error. After knowing the problems we rectified them by using some KPI’S which include completion rate, call success rate and proper hand off during the call. This is done via Drive Testing of the specific affected site. While drive testing we basically check the Rx level and Rx quality values,to make sure that site is functioning properly and quality level is satisfactory with the help of pocket T.E.M.S.
