About

I bring structure to the chaos of building engineering products. I speak both tech and exec; I am a one-man army from brainstorming sessions, sprint meets and code reviews, to pitching it to corporate or even selling it to the customer. I aim to contribute meaningfully from day 1. I don't claim to know everything. I might be the one with the most stupid questions, and in many ways, I am difficult, but I walk into the room with the brightest smile on the days that are the toughest for the team, and that's what earns me a seat on that table. I moved to Pune for education as a true-blooded Delhite who had barely stepped out of the city, and boy, it's been a wild ride. Reach out to me if you ever want to talk about upcoming tech, weird animal facts, or Game of Thrones over a cup of tea, or even better, the rotating tea cups ride at an amusement park!

  • Tech is a brutal place to be as newbie...the imposter syndrome eats at your core at every moment till you learn how to embrace it...this is the place where I learnt how to embrace it

  • I've been working since I was 16 but this felt like my first job because it gave me responsibilities that had real consequences. Placements are serious business since they come at the end of a 20ish lakh investment at the end of four years of college and handling the weight of expectations of that for over 300+ students made me realise that my actions as a part of this team had pivotal impacts in what many people would call their 'first job'.
  • Adulting comes with baggage and I learnt how to carry it with style on this job and a big part of it was the mentorship I got and the relationships I cultivated here

Script Writing Head, M.O.S.A.I.C

Apr 2021May 2022 · 1 yr 1 mo · Pune, Maharashtra, India

  • I started my journey at M.O.S.A.I.C as a beady-eyed freshman looking to make friends in the first year of college, little did I know that that would entice me with so many creative and leadership challenges. Whether it was writing on a tight brief with a team, bringing structure to a creative process, or managing 'artists' who valued their art too much to take criticism, every experience brought its kind of learning. Soon, I was given a position on the core committee after a year and I worked my way up to the Head position in a few months, which entails writing and aiding other writers to produce scripts that tell meaningful stories. Screenwriting was a hobby that I took up in school as a way of release, but in college, it became my way of communicating. 'Show don't tell' is my mantra in life thanks to this position.

  • I became a part of EPIC in my freshmen year of college after passing a rigorous interview process that selected only ten members from a large pool of applicants. The role involved conducting various talks and events to promote entrepreneurship on campus creatively. It required me to manage events with many moving cogs. Whether it's administrative grunt work or entrepreneurial ideation, EPIC has thrown it all my way and made me a competent and organized worker.

Brands & branches

Marketing Intern

Jun 2018Jun 2018 · 0 mo · Gurgaon, Haryana

  • Do I love carrying a briefcase and being called "ma'am"?
  • I most certainly do, and I realized that during my summer internship with a franchise advisory and expansion strategy company called Brands and Branches.
  • As a content writer in the food division, I started with basic spell-checks on their website and moved my way up to search engine optimization of the company's online presence and writing franchise reports for potential franchisors. In one month, I completed my target of 45 articles along with additional goals like answering FAQs of clients. I understood how franchising works, which is an important asset to creating passive income, and got to check out snazzy restaurants for my reports. The best part of the job? I know the best places to eat in town ;)
