Matthew is a data analytics leader passionate about using data insights to improve the world. He has led highly complex analytics engagements to help clients meet their legal and regulatory obligations. With over 10 years’ experience in HR and payroll Analytics, he has led many employee entitlement remediations across Australia – working alongside taxation and industrial relations SMEs to ensure workforces have received their superannuation and remuneration entitlements. Matthew has also worked on remediation in the insurance, banking and superannuation industries. He took a sabbatical in 2021 to work on a fintech start-up, gaining knowledge of front-end development and adding to his knowledge of Australia’s financial regulatory environment. He has supported several clients with developing their data strategy and data governance processes. Using Deloitte’s Insight Driven Organisation framework, Matthew has facilitated client workshops to provide recommendations on how to best use strategy, people, processes, data and technology platforms to help realise the true potential of analytics in their organisation. Matthew has significant experience as a project manager and SCRUM master for engagements, which combined with his business analyst experience allows him to work with product owners, developers and SMEs to ensure his projects overcome inevitable challenges to deliver results that make a difference.
