• As a part of the the sensor team I worked on designing algorithms on motion sensors in both smartphones and wrist watches. I worked on implementing new machine learning algorithms as well as designing deep neural networks for for improving activity recognition in wrist watches. I also worked on designing low complexity algorithm for activity change in smartphones. Using these techniques I was able to improve the accuracy of the pedometers.

• As the part of the algorithms team I worked on Opportunistic Sensing in the Intel’s latest 2 in 1 systems.During my internship I designed noise removal algorithms from the ECG signals using wavelet de-noising, statistical thresholding and also carried out information extraction form the opportunistic data like emotional states detection, differentiating abnormal ECG. One of my algorithm on opportunistic sensing in ECG signals is under the process of being filed at the US patent office.
