Michael Noetel 🔸 — Co-Founder
I'm a psychologist and an academic trying to find the best ways of helping others, and to then put them into practice. I'm currently most excited about safely navigating the emerging influence of AI. I also conduct systematic reviews, expert elicitation studies (usu. Delphi), and translate knowledge into practice at scale using online learning. I'm an Associate Professor in the School of Psychology at the University of Queensland and Chair of Effective Altruism Australia, a charity trying to help Australians find and fix the world's most pressing problems. Originally from Sydney but fell in love with a Queenslander. Proud dad of three gorgeous rugrats.
