  • Sourcer for Production Engineering team. At the time Production Engineering had over 20 different sub-teams.
  • Launched and executed Manager Reach Out program. We asked several Managers on the team to perform reach outs to candidates that were not responsive to Recruiter reach outs. We matched up skills/interests/background between the Managers and candidates. This helped increase the response ratio. During the first few weeks of the project, we engaged and hired 5 senior Engineers. Two of the Engineers were IC7+ and had not responded to any Recruiter reach outs for previous 7 years. Later this program was added as a tool to the Applicant Tracking system.
  • Led various Talent Hunts with multiple Production Engineering new hires as well as tenured team members. This also led to higher response percentages.
  • Worked on building pipelines and talent mapping for new Production Engineering teams being built in New York and Seattle.

  • In the beginning, WhatsApp had separate processes for recruiting, interviewing, and offers including different salary bands. Over time, helped influence and guided WhatsApp teams to adopt Facebook hiring and recruiting processes and tools.
  • Part of the team to help overhaul interview process for Engineering hiring. Using data and building relationships, shortened the interview process which led to shorter recruit-to-offer times. This also opened up the candidate pools as well as increased diversity hiring.
  • Part of Lead Team that developed and implemented our version of Impact Hiring Light for the Operations Teams. This was a more streamlined and consistent interview process. Worked with my client teams to gather their requirements for their roles then determine the best questions/exercises. This helped minimize bias as well as speed up time-to-hire.
