Mohak Gidwani — Backend Engineer

Hello folks, Mohak this side. I enjoy building backend systems and solving challenging problems. I'm currently working at Cisco with the CONP (Cisco Optical Network Planner) team. Our tool helps service providers to simulate, validate and optimize large-scale optical networks resulting in reduction in deployment errors and improvement in spectrum planning. I contribute as a full-stack developer, with a primary focus on backend development using Java (Spring Boot), Go and PostgreSQL, and frontend development with ReactJS. Prior to this, I completed a semester-long internship with the Platform Dev Test team at Cisco, where we developed and maintained Python automation scripts for image management across multiple router platforms. My strong foundation in algorithms and problem-solving comes from active participation in Competitive Programming. I'm an Expert on Codeforces and a 5★ coder on CodeChef.
