• Was member of the South Asia Trade Policy Team focused on deepening the UK-India trade & investment relationship, primarily led HMG's market access agenda. Worked closely with Government of India, colleagues across HMG and business leaders on both sides. Gained extensive experience of bilateral negotiations and economic diplomacy, having led:
• The establishment of the UK-India Fast Track Mechanism by negotiating and formalising an MoU during the Indian PM's visit to the UK in November 2015.
• The negotiations in 2016 on UK-India MoU on Animal Husbandry, Dairying and Fisheries and established a bilateral Joint Working Group to help resolve market access barriers.
• The setting up of the Joint Working Group on Trade, under the UK-India JETCO, launched during the UK PM's visit to India in November 2016.
• The negotiations on behalf of UK Govt on an MoU on legal services signed in 2018 and established a Joint Consultative Committee to strengthen bilateral ties in the sphere of law and justice.
• Bilateral negotiations on PBS and agri sectors for the UK-India Enhanced Trade Partnership.
• Was High Commission's lead for Services and Investments chapters for the potential FTA between India and the UK.

• During my short but exciting time at EEPC India I lead on setting up the Defence Exports Committee under the aegis of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry of India by bringing the Indian defence manufacturers and different ministries of the Govt of India at one platform to iron out issues that impede Indian industry's march towards becoming reliable suppliers to the global defence market. I also had the pleasure of strengthening EEPC India's engagement with African and ASEAN diplomatic missions.
