I focus on creating scalable, distributed systems and improving performance—one code at a time. Currently, I contribute to Barclays' Front Office software ICE, a Risk View Investment System, where I help design and improve components that organize and visualize risk data. My toolbox includes Java, Spring Boot, Oracle, and a little bit of magic with distributed caching, Solace, and TIBCO (messaging systems). Some components of the system are event-driven, but I promise I don’t actually “drive” the events—they tend to take care of themselves. I’ve also been lucky enough to work with the Data team, where I helped develop and maintain data ETL pipelines for the marketing and payments domains. I’ve learned a lot about making sure data flows smoothly across various platforms like Oracle, Abinitio, Hadoop, and Teradata—and I’m proud to say, no data has ever attempted an escape on my watch. Before this, at Tata Consultancy Services, I worked on a flagship EdTech product, refining APIs, optimizing databases, and designing dashboards that helped the team make better decisions. It wasn’t glamorous, but it was my way of making technology work for people. When I’m not coding at work, I’m usually tinkering with personal projects, trying out new technologies, and learning from all the inevitable mistakes I make along the way. It’s a work in progress. With experience in Java, Spring Boot, Python, Hadoop, and tools like Grafana, I’m always up for a challenge, eager to collaborate with great teams, and excited to keep learning. Because in tech, the more you know, the more you realize you don’t know. But honestly, that’s where the fun begins, right?
