Final-year Electrical Engineering (EE) student at IIT Dharwad. Helping founders raise capital and grow their businesses. Spiritually retired from anything involving semiconductors. Growing up in a family full of doctors, I somehow convinced myself to pick engineering. Regret it more than I regret skipping med school — but hey, who doesn’t love a little suffering? Thankfully, Investment banking (IB) came to save the day (and my sanity). I survived analog electronics, digital systems, and professors who thought MATLAB was a personality. Somewhere in between, I realized I really like finance — the models, the strategy, the numbers that actually matter. EE taught me endurance, advanced math, and how to fake confidence when I had no clue what was going on. IB taught me to channel that energy into building financial models and closing deals. Along the way, I found my true interests — finance, strategy, and structured chaos. I now work at a boutique IB firm, diving into deals, building models, and asking real-world questions like, “How do we make this company worth more?” instead of, “What’s the Fourier transform of this sad waveform?” I’ve spent the last few years learning that: 1. Kirchhoff’s Law doesn’t help you forecast EBITDA 2. Signals don’t process themselves 3. And no one actually likes power systems Now, I spend my time doing things I actually enjoy: building pitch decks, financial models, connecting founders with investors, and pretending I didn’t almost fail EM theory. I enjoy working at the intersection of capital, business, and innovation — especially in finance and tech-driven sectors. Also enjoy never touching an oscilloscope again.
