• Engineering the next-gen workflow orchestration (no-code / low-code) product for the Fintech world.
• Designed & developed an entire version control system where users can revert back to any of their past workflows. (similar to git commits)
• Wrote the partner onboarding framework using Kong API Gateway
• Identified critical bottlenecks and scaled system from 3 TPS to 2500 TPS in one quarter by redesigning the system design
• Brainstormed and rewrote modules to improvise low CPU performance of the application. Reduced k8s CPU throttling from 4.9 seconds to 1.5 seconds for the core execution engine, optimizing CPU utilization by 65%.
• Fixed CPU spikes due to slow queries, deadlocks, inefficient indexing in PSQL (using single 4 core 8 GB VM) from frequent 100% to 20% under 25 TPS of traffic.

• Researched & developed an entirely new cron job framework for scheduling triggers on node.js which can be configured at runtime
• Rewrote entire merchant settlement by incorporating MPA for accounting. Introduced different settlement types (dynamic config) and wrote their algorithms.
• Worked on transactions/orders webhooks architecture and backend design using Kafka and node.js. Built a completely agnostic Producer-Consumer Service which can be used across services like notifications, emails, etc as well.
• Spearheaded the development of generic authentication layer for transactions which can support 'n' parameters × 'n' layers
• Built tenant onboarding APIs which improved the new tenant onboarding time for production deployments by 97%
• Built the passbook and journal entry backend design / architecture with strictly defined rules and boundaries. The passbook report API is designed to handle 100k+ records, aggregate data across different collection & download the csv under 3 seconds.
• Built audit framework to track changes in all database entities (like merchant, users, transactions, settlements, onboarding, etc) by creating a CDC Layer on top of our database and ingesting change logs into Kafka
• Worked on API Bus which is an ESB layer between Banks and M2P Products like CBS & DCMS. API Bus is integrated with Jio Payments Bank & Unity Bank. Primary work was to improve logging by including threadId, response time, masked responses, etc. This helped reduce production debugging / RCA activities from 4 man-hours (involving multiple teams) to 15 minutes.

• Major learning from a 19 year old me who started trading the markets. It's a game of capital. It only makes sense to invest a lot of time doing intraday trading or full time options selling if you have a capital upwards of 20L+ atleast and a separate corpus of 12-15 months expenses. Otherwise stick to weekly charts / invest in mutual funds. Do better professionally and have a handsome income. You can always take a shot at the market again. Although, I have experienced that compounding your job life and stock market portfolio can be very easily done together by positional trading on weekly / monthly charts.
