About

Wanted to take up science in Class 11 because computers fascinated me. Didn’t make the math cutoff. Ended up in commerce. Fell in love with economics. Took up BBA. Landed at VIT — yes, I studied commerce at an engineering college (because why not). Lived like an engineer, skipped the CGPA pressure. Lesson learned: Numbers make sense if you use them right — and it’s okay to take the scenic route. First job: BNP Paribas, middle office, investment banking. Spoke to a ton of European clients. Realized I was pretty good at this communication thing. Lesson learned: Over-communication > under-communication. Always. Prepped for MBA, got into NMIMS. Joined the placement committee. Made 1,000+ calls to get recruiters onboard. Helped some seniors land their dream roles. Dropped out of placecom, started interning like crazy. Lesson learned: Cold calls aren’t scary — just don’t be spammy. Wrote blogs, tweets, brand books. Interviewed men about their underwear habits (yup, Damensch). Got obsessed with understanding what users really want. Lesson learned: Do random stuff — it reveals what you’re actually into. Then came Ninjacart. Joined as an off-campus product hire, built NinjaGlobal with a rockstar team. Shipped digital KYC, payments, tracking, order management. Some features hit, some flopped. But exporters and importers trusted us. Lesson learned: Sit with engineers on weekend releases, they’ll never forget it. Next stop: Simplilearn. Started with small experiments, ended up driving millions of certifications shared on LinkedIn! Survived a mass layoffs (from 250 -> 50). Was trusted immensely and got a bigger portfolio! Dived into data, CRM workflows, Salesforce custom hacks, sales process redesign. Reported to the co-founder. Crazy ride. Lesson learned: Chase outcomes. Deep work compounds. Now at Dezerv, revamping CRM, building systems, learning hardcore analytics — and still very much figuring it out. Also lost 30 kilos along the way. If you read this far — we have to talk. Let’s connect. 🚀

Ninjacart

Associate Product Manager

Mar 2022Apr 2023 · 1 yr 1 mo · Bengaluru, Karnataka, India · On-site

  • Joined Ninja Global as the founding PM — building a cross-border agri-trade platform from scratch. Worked in acquisition - did cold calls, met people, distributed pamphlets and got hoardings done near ports. Acquired 3000+ B2B users, ran 30+ international trades, and built the initial building blocks to keep the flywheel spinning.
  • Added payment guarantees → cut risk → boosted repeat trades by 30%.
  • Explored Southeast Asia → opened up new markets.
  • Launched 10+ features → A/B tested like crazy → made the app stickier.
  • Also introduced financing products, did deep discovery, and basically wore the hat of PM, GTM, Ops, and sometimes… therapist for confused exporters.
  • Won the ‘Maverick’ award. Twice.
  • Closed $750,000+ in GMV
  • Delivered features that moved the needle
  • Lesson learned: Early-stage PMing = chaos. Embrace it, own it, ship it.

Damensch

Product Development Intern

Nov 2021Jan 2022 · 2 mos · Bangalore Urban, Karnataka, India

  • Interned with a premium comfort wear brand ‘cause I was super curious about why people actually buy clothes. Everyone talks about brand or fit — turns out, price drives 95% of the decisions (yep, I backed it with solid data).
  • Spoke to 110+ people, asked a lot of questions, built a perceptual map, tested some wild hypotheses, and figured out what actually shapes brand imagery in this space.
  • Lesson learned: Comfort sells, but price closes.

Quicko

Product Marketing & Growth - Intern

May 2021Jul 2021 · 2 mos · Bengaluru, Karnataka, India

  • Quicko — where taxes meet tech (and vibes).
  • I joined to do “something cool,” ended up writing newsletters that 100,000+ folks actually opened (Bytes by Quicko). Boosted open rates by 10%, sprinkled in storytelling, built pretty banners, and handled weekend socials like a pro.
  • Wrote the PRD + GTM for the newsletter
  • Drove 40% subscriber growth (SEO FTW)
  • Also got a PPO — not just for showing up, but for showing impact.
  • Lesson learned: content that clicks is content that sticks.

Jayant agro-organics limited (jaol)

Growth Product Manager - Full time Intern

Mar 2021Feb 2022 · 11 mos · Bengaluru, Karnataka, India · Remote

  • Who knew castor oil could be this cool?
  • Joined Jayant Agro Organics, the OG in India’s castor oil industry with a massive 70–80% market share and ₹2,500 Cr+ in revenue. They were launching a consumer brand for the first time — and I jumped right in.
  • From GTM plans and competitor research to brand books and website dev, I got my hands dirty with everything. Even helped introduce couverture chocolates to the Indian baking scene — no more importing fancy baking bars from Belgium!
  • My role? A bit of everything:
  • Ops
  • Marketing
  • E-commerce
  • Product & Website
  • Social Media
  • Got a PPO for saying yes to everything, figuring it out, and making it happen.
  • Lesson learned: You don’t need to know everything — just do everything with intent.

Bnp paribas

Investment Banking Analyst

May 2018May 2019 · 1 yr · Chennai Area, India

  • BNP Paribas, middle office, investment banking. I was the bridge — talking to 3 different companies at once, making sure everyone was aligned, timelines were met, and there was no “Wait, what?” moment.
  • Had a lot of fun doing it. Got tons of appreciation from clients. Oh, and casually settled trades worth $10 billion+ a day.
