Rafi Abu — Business Analyst
I am a BSc (Hons) Computing Systems student at Ulster University and a Dean’s List recipient, recognised for strong academic performance and a commitment to continuous learning. Alongside my studies, I serve as a Student Mentor, supporting first-year students in their academic journey. This role has helped me develop strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills while working with diverse groups of students. I am currently developing skills in Business Analysis, with a focus on understanding business needs and translating them into clear insights and solutions. My learning includes Agile fundamentals, stakeholder analysis, data analysis using Excel and SQL, and data visualisation with Power BI. As an active member of the British Computer Society (BCS), Ulster University Computing Society, and the Students’ Union, I enjoy collaborating with others, learning from different perspectives, and contributing to meaningful projects. I am currently seeking opportunities to gain practical experience through a Business Analyst internship where I can apply analytical thinking, support data-driven decision making, and contribute to solving real business challenges.
