As a SysDev Manager in Datapath, I am leading a teams of highly skilled System Development and DevOps engineer's that work to solve complex operation problems for partner teams. As a leader of this group I work directly and closely with some of the largest group that own the Amazon retail website technical stack which gives a great opportunity to deep dive into problems that the partner teams face and provide holistic long-term solutions to fix them. Responsible for tracking the success metrics, key deliverable's and managing expectations for the partner teams. In this role, we often cut across multiple partner teams tech stack to identify and solve some of the common yet very complex issues at scale. I also lead company-wide tool development efforts that have major impacts by thinking big. Driving Efficiency, Reducing Operational Burden, Building Automation and Tools to Increase Developer's Productivity, Availability, Resiliency and Security are my key responsibilities. In 2022, my team was able to save millions of dollars by working in partnership with teams and optimizing our fleets utilization. We were one of the very few teams who leveraged Graviton hardware. I am managing a very high performing teams, smart engineers & managers. I work with upper leadership, principle engineers and senior technical program managers across the org in multiple geographical locations thus establish effective collaboration and partnership.
