• Moved to the PowerPoint Microworker feature. We were able to:
• Start deploying Microworker services to few datacenters to start seeing the impact on COGS, reliability & performance on thumbnail generation, and overall EUPL
• Worked through multiple incidents around caching and reducing overall round trip latency during peak traffic hours

• Worked along with 3 fellow members on developing a new PowerPoint mobile web app experience. We were able to:
• Deploy the new experience to 100% production
• Increased the boot reliability by 3.2% compared to the old experience
• Increased the overall reliability by 4.3% compared to the old experience
• Decrease the time to load the presentation by 5.8% compared to the old experience
• Adding new features like deep-link, comments, etc which helps us increase the user satisfaction and NPS

• As an intern at Microsoft for over a period of 2 months, I worked on:
• Adding a new feature to the PowerPoint Android app.
• The feature did the following:
• Inserting a QR code with the presentations read-only link to the last slide
• Building a Scanner in PowerPoint app capable of retrieving and opening presentations in the app.
• Creating a Glove for mute persons that help convert their sign language to speech in real-time:
• Creation of glove embedded with hardware to capture hand movements
• Deep learning computer vision models to predict words from hand movements
