Reeva Bajaj — AI Researcher

I am a Computer Engineering student at Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology, graduating in 2026. I am passionate about building efficient, intelligent systems, with a strong foundation in Data Structures, Algorithms, C++, and Python. My hands-on experience includes developing an AI-powered traffic control system that reduced average wait times by 25% in simulations and engineering "GridPulse," a MERN-stack solution for real-time power data analysis. I am particularly proud of my work on the SmartAI Glasses for the Visually Impaired, a project where I engineered a Raspberry Pi 5-based system using YOLOv5s and CNNs to achieve 94% precision in real-time facial and object recognition. This work also led to a co-authored research paper accepted at ICRITO 2025 in collaboration with IEEE. I am thrilled to be joining Apple as an SDE Intern (IS&T) in January 2026 and am always open to connecting with fellow developers and mentors in the AI and software engineering space.
