About

I have been leading Technical Sales Professionals (commonly known as Systems Engineers or Sales Engineers) with evolving responsibility over the past 28 years. The key is to coach, inspire, and unite high-performance teams towards developing a winning solution-sales approach for the given market. My background has been in technical sales for the areas of security, virtualization, datacenter, networking and storage. I have had the good fortune to be a part of very successful start-ups and large companies where I have lead systems engineering teams for direct, channel partner, OEM partners like Dell and HP, and specialists sales for security and software-defined networking. I've been a contributor to taking 4 high tech companies through the hyper-growth stage of passing $1B annual revenue. Professional passions: I am very passionate about the role of the Technical Sales Professional (SE) and how to get the most sales efficiency out of this key role. I firmly believe in team-work, and building deep trust and relationships with my customers. A "win" is only a win if the customer is able to realize the intended business outcome from the solution they purchased. Specialties: I have shown value and differentiated myself, developing strategic sales methods, leveraging AI to accelerate sales, designing and implementing detailed technical enablement programs, org structures and processes that result in increased sales. I am technically proficient in virtualization technologies, cloud computing, datacenter networking, and security.
