Right now I'm CTO at Noon, where we're building the AI-native design tool that eliminates the wall between design and code. Before that, I founded GMetri — a WebXR platform where I learned the hard way how painful that gap really is. Also built our own server rack, cut cloud costs by 75%, and discovered that power bills are scarier than AWS bills. The thread connecting my career: I like building complex systems with real impact. Real-time sports data at scale (SportsCafe), trading systems (BAML), fintech platforms (Goldman Sachs) — different domains, same obsession with getting systems right. What I care about: scalable architecture, DevOps - done properly, the JS/TS ecosystem, and the question of what design tooling looks like when AI is a first-class collaborator — not a bolt-on feature. Outside of work: chess player, learning piano and violin (slowly), free software advocate, photographer. Still use emacs and zsh. Opinions on infrastructure are strong and freely given.
