• Note that this tenure also includes my position as Engineering Lead at Verisign Services (India) Private Limited which was acquired by Syniverse in January 2010.
• As Lead Engineer, I was responsible for realizing the organizational roadmap for Picturemail and ICMMS (Inter Carrier Multimedia Messaging Service) solutions. This included end-to-end responsibility of design, development, performance tuning, deployment support, troubleshooting production incidents & customer reported issues.
• World’s first camera phone & mobile messaging product was developed & launched by Lightsurf (which was acquired by Verisign in 2005) and was called Picturemail. This solution powered the growth of world’s earliest camera phones. I provided technical leadership to the teams that were responsible for enhancing this solution & deploying it for telecom carriers in USA, Canada, New Zealand & Mexico regions.
• ICMMS solution powered the delivery of multimedia messages between carriers. Handles up to 30,000 messages per second at its peak. I provided technical leadership to the team that was responsible for feature enhancements of this global product.
