  • Setting CSAT for different verticals - Prior to Dec’22, CSAT link was being sent to the users on email for the calls. We had lower response rate then. We decided to send type form link to the users on SMS. We are now having better response rate and improved CSAT score
  • Chats & Forms Enquiries Performance: We wanted to ensure timely responses to the customer queries coming via Chats. We created the data visibility for the Sales team to improve the response rate. Response rate has increased to 99% in Mar’23 from 81% in Oct’22

  • Cohort Analysis & Slots Visibility – In Mar’22, we decided to move from Retail Inspection to Home Inspection. We did a RCA for the loss in appointments & inspections and identified the stores which had a lower share of appointments getting scheduled within T+2 days
  • We started capturing visible slots data when the user lands to select slots for Home Inspection. Post having the data captured, we decided to shift the users from >D2 cohorts to <=D2 cohorts as conversion was better
  • Duplicate Appointments: ~2.6% of overall verified appointments were duplicate and we eased up of ~1800 slots for inspection to achieve ~350-400 stock-ins
  • Actual Seller Survey - To Find the % actual sellers out of customers who interacted with Cars24 at various stages of the funnel viz. Lead, appointment & inspection level. Also, identifying key competition at each level and evaluate potential for exchange offer
  • ETL for Slot Occupancy –It is an essential metric for business team and gives the efficiency of a store/city in terms of how much percentage of slots are occupied. A new ETL was created to bring the updated dynamic slot timing and the CJ number was calculated basis the attendance shared by store manager
  • Checking Seller Intent at Lead & appointment level – As we had limited slots, so we wanted to prioritize the users based on the intent and improve the funnel metrics. Users providing the Registration numbers and wanted to sell the car in next 2 weeks were high intent users
  • Setting MMP across channels – Our team decided to look beyond the Inspections, Purchases and Stock-In and calculate marketing margin per purchase (MMP) across all paid channels – Google SEM, Facebook. DSA and Affiliates. This helped in optimizing the cost. Also, we automated MMP for DSA and Affiliates partners so the stakeholders could identify the partner-city where optimization need to be done and more number of inspections can be scaled up while keeping the MMP as positive
