About

I am a second-year Master's student at the University of South Florida (USF) and I am actively looking for exciting job opportunities starting June 2021. I am interested in working in the space of problems that lie at the intersection of software engineering and data science. I am passionate about building smart systems and love to use Python as my go-to tool. As a Student Researcher @ USF, I am working in the CVPR - Affective Vision Lab advised by Dr. Shaun Canavan, where my research focuses on building machine learning models that can recognize human emotion and behavior. I published my first research work at the ICMI conference last year in the same domain, which was also my thesis. Before joining USF, I worked as a software developer for 3+ years, where I worked on building and managing large-scale cloud-based Data Warehouse and Data Lake. I am also proficient with AWS services, web development, and deployment and have hands-on experience in using big data technologies. After graduating, I would like to work on data-driven software development projects and gain exposure to new technologies. Being a quick learner and a hard worker, I am continuously working to improve my technical and personal skillsets and impact this digital age.
