Lancers Club was created to support freelancers, consultants, and independent professionals in finding projects, winning clients, and managing their work through a unified platform.
While building the product and engaging with early users, we gained valuable insights into how the freelance ecosystem operates. Over time, it became clear that the product had not yet achieved sustainable product–market fit. Customer acquisition costs remained higher than the revenue generated per user, and the Indian market was still early in terms of paying for such platforms.
Recognizing this, we chose to pivot rather than push for premature scale. The learnings from this journey led us to start ProfoundIQ, where we now focus on enabling companies to access experienced technology leadership through a CTO-as-a-Service model.
