• As the engineering head for Gojek's Ads, Risk & Identity teams, I:
• ➣ Manage a team of 40 engineers focused on building high volume & throughput products to scale GoTo’s Adtech business, keep the upstream/ downstream services free of fraud & ensure user verification & login systems remain highly reliable.
• ➣ I’m responsible for creating and co-owning the team roadmap & OKRs with the product leadership. This includes prioritization, effort estimation, sprint planning, milestone-ing initiatives.

• ➣ Managed and co-architected the CPM (View based ads) ad serving engine to tap into demand for content from DSPs.
• ➣ Increased RoAS (Return of Ad Spend) of campaigns by pricing optimizations, campaign delivery and exposure
• Risk Platform:
• ➣ Responsible engineering the systems that upkeep driver safety, customer trust, collusion prevention & incentive abuse.
• ➣ Maintain & manage risk signals that are used for programmatic sanctions & fraud prevention across customers, drivers & merchants.
• ➣ Deploying guardrails and preventive checks for upstream services to mitigate bot attacks.

• ➣ Develop and maintain robust APIs for seamless login and verification of Gojek accounts within third-party mini-apps.
• ➣ Ensure consistent user experience across all integrated platforms.
• ➣ Implement an advanced account safety dashboard, empowering users to Monitor account activity, Manage connected devices, Set up multi-factor authentication (MFA) & customize security preferences
• ➣ Support the Account Takeover (ATO) prevention initiative by implementing risk-based authentication

• ➣ Laid the engineering groundwork to create a 360° ads offering for Gojek: DSP, SSP, External Ads Network focussed on attribution, analytics & funnelling.
• ➣ Liaisoned with a partner company to fold the adtech infrastructure inhouse that powers external ads.
• ➣ Led the team to create a high throughput ad server that powers any generic placement inventory in Gojek, currently powering transport & homepage.
• ➣ Led engineering & business (cost) negotiations with a partner company that could hamper business continuity.
• ➣ Engineered the OpenRTB wrapper for the DOOH ecosystem to tap into external ad exchanges.

• ➣ Architected & co-engineered the OOH Ads ecosystem: ad server, stats collector, campaign builder, campaign analytics & the android app.
• ➣ Development of a unique observability & reliability engine for our transit Ads Platform, Guardian.
• ➣ Worked with the mobility team to integrate with Open Measurement SDK (OMSDK) in the Ad player.
• ➣ Partnered with the data science team to develop an on device computer vision based SDK for impression capture.

• ➣ Worked on Gojek’s varied driver onboarding platforms. I was responsible for our driver verification service – Petros and our driver document warehouse – KYD
• ➣ Besides Petros & KYD, I worked on Quiver (our internal appointment queue), CAT (Central Auth tool for access control on agents), Self-onboarding (online portal for driver onboarding).
• ➣ Setting up of ETL pipelines to move driver data to Gojek’s data warehouse via Kafka
• ➣ Designed a service to auto crop driver images. At scale, this service auto cropped and KYC readied about 2 million driver profile pictures and received a shoutout in the org-wide newsletter.
