• A web-based GUI with a C++ back-end that displays real-time trade-related data like the number of trades, orders, buy-sell ratio, etc. along with their rolling 5 days and 30 days historical averages and standard deviations in real time, on a per symbol and exchange basis for all trading teams in Tower
• Modified the back end to migrate the Qt-based desktop application of TDM to a web-based application developed in React
• Added real-time alerting in TDM where users can configure alerts on the basis of the trading team, exchange, metrics, etc. and be notified via alert notifications on the UI.
• Added the support to provide charting capabilities in TDM where the user can launch charts on any level and see the current day’s trend along with the historical average and the deviations.
• Modified the back end to make it more flexible and provided the pivoting capability on all metadata to aggregate data according to user’s preferences, as opposed to seeing data in a fixed hierarchy.
• 2. Tower Risk Monitor (TRM) (Nov 2015 – Mar 2018)
• A Qt-based desktop GUI with a C++ and Python back end, that displays PnL and other risk metrics for every symbol traded by every team in Tower in real-time, enabling risk management and the trading teams to make critical risk mitigation decisions.
• Managed various projects in TRM to add important risk metrics in UI like $Beta, Stress PnLs, $Greeks, Implied volatilities, min-max, buying power, etc.
• Developed the reconciliation and alert framework in TRM for detecting intraday and end of day discrepancies in the system like missing /stale positions, PnL outside limits, thus improving the system health and helping the support teams to take quick remediations.
• Ideated and delivered the project to create a synthetic view in TRM which presented the decomposed cash positions of index futures and ETFs along with their PnLs thus helping the clients to gauge their risk exposure more effectively.

• 1. KDB Writer
• A Linux based C++ library for generically interpreting any data in the form of google protobuf derived objects (known as UFOs) and writing into KDB.
• Designed and implemented a completely configuration-based library, pluggable into any application producing data in the form of UFOs.
• Integrated the library into Systematic Trading Platform with the motive to retire Windows based KDB writer library having capacity issues. The data written in KDB had its usability for analytical purposes.
• Also enhanced the KDB writer library and added functionality for subscribing for data on EMS and 29West sources.
• Received a praise award for taking the complete ownership of the project and working with developers across geography for requirement understanding and executing. The project also required acquiring KDB skills from the KDB team in order to execute the project.
• 2. Unified Model Interface (UMI) Greek Server
• A C++ server based on Stage Event Driven Architecture to calculate options’ greeks and provide the traders with up-to-date risk values.
• Designed and developed various stages of the server required to subscribe on market and reference data and calculate the greeks for about 600k options on 2200 underlying in real-time.
• Integrated the server with Kdb writer library to write all the greeks into Kdb, which were then presented on a UI.
• Honored with a CTC Pune R&R Q3 team award for successfully completing the project. The project required working closely with Quant and business across regions and scaling the product for derivatives corresponding to 600 securities.
